Aberdeen Airport (IATA: ABZ, ICAO: EGPD) is the third largest airport in Scotland, and one of the busiest for flight movements within the UK.

Aberdeen airport is located in Dyce, approximately 7 miles northwest of the city centre of Aberdeen in Scotland.


Aberdeen airport is owned and operated by BAA Limited, and is BAA Scotland's fastest growing airport, serving more than 3 million passengers annually and offering flights to around 35 destinations.

Aberdeen Airport has one main passenger terminal, serving scheduled and chartered holiday flights. In addition, there are 3 terminals dedicated to North Sea helicopter operations.  Aberdeen Airport is one of Europe's busiest commercial heliports, transporting more than 400,000 helicopter passengers per year in support of the United Kingdom's offshore oil and gas industry.

Aberdeen Airport is a gateway to Moray and if you wish to visit the Moray area or plan a trip away from Moray, the airport is well serviced by bus and rail links to Moray and is around 45 miles on average from a central point in Moray.

Rail Links to Moray
The local railway station at Dyce is just a short taxi ride from the airport and has frequent services to Inverness which stop at Keith, Elgin and Forres within the Moray area.   There is also a service to the main line station in Aberdeen city centre, from where there are frequent services to all parts of Scotland and England.

Bus Links to Moray
Bluebird Northern operate a service between Aberdeen Airport and Inverness every 60 minutes, but check the operator's timetables to ensure accuracy.   This service stops at all points in Moray along the A96 main trunk road.

By Road
It is easy to reach Aberdeen Airport by road, from Moray. The access road to the airport is signposted from the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road.  There are two car parks at Aberdeen Airport.  The short term car park is located in front of the terminal building and the long term car park is off Forties Road and offers a courtesy bus to the terminal.
