Description ABOUT ELGIN RADIO Elgin Radio is a community radio station with the emphasis being on fund raising for local charities.   Elgin Radio is purely an Internet radio station.  Shows are live between 2pm and 10 pm but pre-recorded shows are broadcast outwith those times. Elgin Radio is run by a small group of volunteers with the intention of raising cash for local charities, while providing an entertaining and informative radio station for the local area.  WHY SUPPORT ELGIN RADIO? The philosophy of the Elgin Radio team is that local charities can be overshadowed by the more global charities and although the major charities do fantastic work in their field, Elgin Radio want to focus a little closer to home. Any donations to Elgin Radio will therefore be going to locally, within the Moray area.   The intention of Elgin Radio is to raise awareness of local charities through their broadcasts on the Internet, and to do this they need a constant input of cash  to cover the costs that providing the service generates. A small percentage of funds raised, therefore, will go towards keeping the service running, which will enable Elgin Radio to raise more cash for local charities. HOW CAN YOU HELP Elgin Radio is always looking for volunteers who have some spare time to broadcast, fundraise and generally support the station and the local area.
