If you do not have a dentist, and require emergency treatment, it is possible to contact the West End Dental Practice at Dr. Grays Hospital. Address details, including a map, for this practice are listed below. For emergency treatment of non registered adults you may call on 01343 567891 between 9am and 4pm. For non registered children you should contact 01343 567205 between 9am and 12.30pm. All other dental emergencies should go through DIAL or GDENS systems as detailed below.
NHS Grampian has a dedicated Dental Information and Advice Line (DIAL) where patients can talk to fully trained qualified dental nurses who can assess patient needs and give advice on dental problems. This line is manned between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday and can be accessed by the local rate number 0845 45 65 990
NHS Grampian operates an out of hours emergency dental service, GDENS, for unregistered patients and visitors to the area who are in acute pain and require emergency treatment. The clinics are open between 6.15pm and 9.15pm, Monday to Friday and 9.30am to 12.30pm Saturday and Sunday. Patients are required to call a dedicated telephone line 01224 558140 for an appointment. This line is open between 5.40pm and 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12.30pm Saturday and Sunday.
