The Moray Council

Moray Council is the local authority that provides services throughout the Moray area. The Council, with its headquarters in Elgin, consists of 26 Councillors. There are 12 Independents, 2 Labour,
9 Scottish National Party, and 3 Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party councillors.
The Council is responsible for running a wide range of public sector services including: Housing, Social Work, Education, Economic Development, Planning, Roads, Leisure and Environmental Protection.

While the headquarters are in Elgin, there are area offices at Forres, Buckie, Keith, Dufftown and Lossiemouth.
