Moray Road Travel

Moray can be accessed from a variety of directions by road.
The A96 trunk road runs through Moray in an east/west direction between Aberdeen and Inverness. Aberdeen is less than one hour's drive from the eastern boundary of Moray and Inverness is approximately 45 minutes from the western edge of Moray. There is a regular bus service which operates between Aberdeen and Inverness, run by Stagecoach Bluebird, which passes through most of the larger towns in Moray, with connections throughout the rest of the Moray area.
Glasgow and Edinburgh are both less than 4 hours away by car with beautiful and varied scenery throughout the route. If you wish to travel by public road transport from Glasgow or Edinburgh, there are regular bus services run by National Express, City Link and Megabus to Inverness and Aberdeen, from where there are regular connections to most of the main towns in Moray.
