New Editor For The Press and Journal

The current editor of the Aberdeen Evening Express, Damian Bates, has been appointed editor the Press and Journal.

Bates succeeds Derek Tucker, who has retired after 18 years in the chair, which had made him the longest-serving editor of a daily newspaper in Scotland.
